We took our first Amtrak ride from Fresno to San Jose. I wanted to talk about the experience in this article.

Amtrak operates both trains and buses so we got to experience both.

We traveled from Fresno to Stockton by train and from Stockton to San Jose in a coach.

Amtrak train

The train was a double-decker one and it was pretty clean checking came immediately to verify the tickets.

The air conditioning was good. Didn't have much of a disturbance.

I wanted to visit the cafe but I couldn't. Heard they have kept both free food and paid ones.

Amtrak coach

The coach was horrible. It was pretty hot outside and the AC was not enough for the entire coach.

The coach had a lavatory.

The shades were good and it was really good at blocking the sun.
